Juanita Gannon

LOGANSPORT, LA-Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Juanita Elmore Gannon, 84, will be held 10 am Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Rose-Neath's Chapel in Logansport, LA with Brother Dale Gannon officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, LA. Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA from 5pm till 7pm. Juanita was born on December 12, 1933 to Eddie B. and Jenny Lou Elmore and entered into rest on February 3, 2018. She is preceded in death by her son, Phillip Gannon; her parents; and eight siblings. Juanita is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Gannon, Sr. of Logansport, LA; her son, John Gannon, Jr. and wife Melinda of Shreveport, LA; daughter-in-law, Anne Gannon of Logansport, LA; her sister, Henrietta Dupree of Oil City, LA; grandchildren, Jason Gannon, Tisa Evans, Jeni Rhodes, Casey Withers, Richard Matthews, Jr., Brook Arbuckle and Melanie Matthews; and ten great grandchildren. Honoring the life of Juanita as pallbearers will be Jimmy Evans, Richard Matthews, Jr., Josh Evans, Lee Withers, Daniel Arbuckle and Kyle Rhodes. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jason Gannon, Jadon Evans, Memphis Thomas, Jackson Gannon, and Liam Withers.
