Juanita Vance

The family of Juanita Vance would like you to know that her work on earth is done. At the age of 85, she received a call from her heavenly Father to be reunited with her parents, John and Oleta Bogues; her husband and the love of her life, James Vance; her first grandson, David Penix; and numerous other family members and friends. What a joyous sight that must have been! Her mission in life was to take care of her husband, James R. Vance, and her children James Robert Vance, Jr. (Crystal), daughters Wanda Pittman (Elbert) and Connie Guin (Glen) and grandchildren Lynn Vance, Jason Penix (Joe Gingras), Connor Scarlett, Tracey Walker (Billy), Aaron Pittman (Whitney), Stacy Huckabee (Jason), Amy Coderre, William Coderre (Chyenne), and her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mama held a special place in her heart for her baby sisters, Katherine Montgomery and Doris Pennock and also for her extended family and friends. We are comforted to know that her walk with the Lord has taken her to a place where her health is restored, her earthly burdens are lifted, and she is reunited with her loved ones. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden and the service will be on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home with Rev. David Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Elbert Pittman, Glen Guin, Billy Walker, Jason Penix, Joe Gingras and Aaron Pittman.
