June Neal

June T. Neal was born February 14, 1926 in Converse, LA to Colon Thames and Eddie Vines Thames and entered into rest on September 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Many, Louisiana beginning with a visitation from 10-11AM with her chapel service being held at 11AM with Brother Jimmy Price officiating. Mrs. Neal will be buried at the Noble Cemetery following her services at the funeral home. Preceding June in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Colon Thames; her husband, A. L. Neal, Jr., and her brothers, Bill Thames, Jep Thames, and Ollie Thames. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Alton Neal of Noble, LA; her daughter, Alva Lauer and Jack of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Jessica Lauer of New Orleans, LA, Gretchen Lauer-Berger of New Orleans, Charles Neal of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Amanda Neal of Natchitoches, LA; Jack Neal of NC; and Jill Neal of OK; along with a host of great grandchildren. June's family would like to thank all the staff at Toledo Retirement Center in Zwolle, LA for the friendship, comfort and care they provided over the past several years for their loved one.
