Visitation services for Karen Lynn Freeman, 69, will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, LA on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Northwoods Baptist Church, 5924 N Market St., Shreveport, LA on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
Karen was born on February 11, 1950 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana after a lengthy illness.
Karen is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Dubois; husband, Billy Freeman and brothers, Don Dubois and Marshall Dubois.
She is survived by her mother, Maymie Dubois; sisters, Nancy Howell, Janice Howell and Connie Birmingham; brothers, Kenneth Dubois and Richard Dubois; daughter, Tracy Wynn; grandson, Lawrence Wynn II and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Louisiana SPCA, 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd., New Orleans, LA, 70114.
