Kitty Jeffers

Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Kitty Jeffers, at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the First Pentecostal Church of Arcadia. Interment will follow at Simsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the First Pentecostal Church of Arcadia. Mrs. Kitty Jeffers was born in Vicksburg, MS on June 19, 1944 and entered into rest on June 13, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Ollie and Mary Elizabeth Yancy, five siblings who died at birth and 1 brother Hershel Yancy who died at the age of seven. She was the seventh child and believed God let her live because seven is His number. She leaves behind to cherish her memory and continue her legacy of faith and love, her husband of 57 years Mr. Frank Jeffers, four children, Cynthia Ann Finley and husband Rick of Dubach, LA, Virginia Sanderson and husband Mike of Choudrant, LA, Joseph Wayne Jeffers and wife Darlene of Arcadia, LA and Trenna Renee Howell of Arcadia, LA, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
