Lee Nix

BOSSIER, LA - Funeral services for Lee Nix, 88, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Brother Beauchamp Powers. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Bossier from 10:00 until service time Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Strong Cemetery, Henderson, Texas. Lee was born June 5, 1926 in Mt. Enterprise, TX to John Daniel and Mary Ann Cadenhead Nix and died December 25, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Lee was a Veteran of the US Army, and retired as a Shop Manager for Red River Motor Company. He also was honored as an original employee of Red River Motor Company. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Otis Nix, Rade Nix and J.D. Nix. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Billie Dunn Nix; daughters, Gloria Cossey and husband, Roy, Gwenda Jackson and husband Ed, Gayla Davidson, Lois Ann Dawson; grandchildren, Veronica Racherbaumer, Waylon Brooks , Melissa Cossey, Bryan Jackson, Vanessa Powers, Matthew Jackson, Kellye Davidson, Gary Lee Davidson Jr., Kayla Navejas, Anthony Hamil, Ashley Bolton and Alex Hamil; Eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring their Paw Paw as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Gary Lee Davidson Jr., Alex Hamil, Bryan Jackson, Dylan Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Jackson Powers, Micah Powers, Adam Racherbaumer, Ben Racherbaumer and Austin Spoor.
