Lena Cascio

Graveside services for Lena Cascio, 98, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at Forest Park East Cemetery with Monsignor Carson LaCaze officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Lena was born September 29, 1919 in Shreveport to Joseph and Mary Liberto and went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2018. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Nick J. Cascio. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Anne Bennett and husband Don; grandchildren, Brian Bennett and wife Leigh Ann and Keith Bennett and wife Jessica; great-grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Drew, and Emily Bennett; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton, LA. The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Village Health Care at the Glen.
