STONEWALL, LA -A Funeral service for Lena Christine Lewing will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Hawkins of Salem Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Lena was born November 3, 1934 in Hemphill, Texas and passed away July 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Lena is preceded in death by her father, Houston Dewitt Vickers and mother, Ima V. Vickers. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are husband of 63 years, L.G. Lewing; son, Tim Lewing; daughters, Mona Serio and Vickie Lewing Bracey; grandchildren, Christie Walters, Tony Serio, Lena Johnson and Jessica Lewing, and her beloved pets, Cracker, Al, and Tipper. Pallbearers are Dusty Johnson, Larry Ross, Marcus Crews, Charles Watson, Tommy Carpenter, Terry Bracey, Eddie Fouts, and Steve Chandler.
