Leon Ford IV

HAUGHTON, LA - Memorial services for Leon Ford IV, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Rose-Neath Chapel, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, LA. The family will receive visitors from 1:30 p.m. until service time. A second memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church in Hammond, LA. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until service time. A reception will follow in Anderson Hall. Leon was born July 6, 1961 and departed this world August 20, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Ford III and mother, Ginger Ford. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Marie Jordan Ford; sister, Helen Ford Dufreche; step-daughter, Abigail Timms; step-son, Hunter Timms; also nieces and nephews, Christine Dufreche, Julie-Josh Aime, Jacob Dufreche and Chris Dufreche. Leon was a lover of railroad history and trains. We know for sure Leon is on that long Heavenly Train watching space capsules and astronauts float by. Leon was loved by all who knew him. The best thing to be said of him is "He could not do enough for you." In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions can be made to Our Daily Bread Food Bank, P.O.
