Lera Johnson

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Lera Mora Johnson will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel with Brother Jimmie Glover officiating; interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Noble, LA. A visitation for her will be held before the funeral from 8:00AM-10:00 AM at the funeral home. Lera was born September 29, 1940 in Zwolle, LA to Letha Inez (Sharbeno) Mora and Lonnie Ervin Mora and entered into rest on August 10, 2020 in Amarillo, TX. Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lonnie Mora; her husband, Hubert Eugene Johnson; her son, Stanley Ervin Campbell; her sisters, Lenez Mora, Lena Thibodeaux; her brother, Gabe Mora, and her daughter-in-law, Sandy Campbell. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Earl Wayne Parrie & wife, Melissa of Amarillo, TX; her daughter, Letha Maureen Tompkins & husband, Jeffrey of Dallas, TX, her daughter, Lera Eileen Ramos of Amarillo, TX, her daughter, Susan Pickard of Amarillo, TX; her sister, Mary Lee of Many, LA, her sister, Carol Mora & Gaylon Faircloth of Zwolle, LA; her sister-in-law, Eloise Mora of Zwolle, LA; and she also has 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Jeffrey Tompkins, Gerald Whittington, Robert Lee, Irah Whittington, Adam Ketchum, and Roland Holmes.
