Linda Kay Monds

Services for Linda Kay Tipton Monds will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at The Rock of Trinity Heights Baptist Church in Shreveport. Officiating will be Rev. Calep Lewis, Sr. Adult Minister at Trinity Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Linda was born December 27, 1948 in Odessa, TX to father, Harold S. Tipton and mother, Rhoda Ellison Tipton. She passed away May 23, 2018 in Bossier City. Linda was a graduate of Ryder High School and Draughn's Business School in Wichita Falls TX. She then worked as manager of the floral department at Gibson's and enjoyed her work. She was loved and blessed by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Monds; mother, Rhoda Ellison Tipton and sister, Rita Hayes. Linda is survived by her father, Harold S. Tipton and wife, Frances Tipton of Shreveport and brother, Don Tipton of Houston.
