HAUGHTON, LA - Services for Lois Allen will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Michael McNatt. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hall Summit, LA. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Lois was born in Homer, LA on October 9, 1922 to Walter and Lela Mae Cummings and died March 29, 2017 in Bossier City, LA. She attended Belle Park Baptist Church and was a member of Broadmoor Chapter #233 of the Order of Eastern Star. Lois formerly worked as a taxidermist technician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Otis Allen; daughters, Synthia Jane Allen and Carolyn Allen Lynch; parents; three sisters and four brothers. Lois is survived by daughters, Marilyn Allen of Haughton, LA and Beverly Kruise of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren, Otis and Jeffrey Allen, Jerry Kruise, Jennifer Kruise Marsh, Daniel Lynch, Paula Ybanez, Cathy McNatt and 10 great grandchildren.
