HOMER, LA: Lois Lee Hightower was born January 3, 1931, to Arthur C. and Ruth Cannon Lee in Madison, KS. She entered into rest on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, in Homer, LA. Lois lived most of her life in Claiborne Parish. Lois was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church of Lisbon, LA. She was a LPN and worked at the Homer Memorial Hospital until her retirement.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Ray Hightower; two sons, Kenneth C. Hightower and Greg Hightower; and two brothers, Howard Lee and Lewis Lee.

 She is survived by her two daughters, Cathy Moore and Amy Legendre and husband Mike all of Homer; a son, Russell Hightower of Homer; a sister, Neomia Davidson of Minden; ten grandchildren, Dawn, Kim, Scott, David, Ray, Tabitha, Joshua, Holly, Stephen, and Allison; seven great-grandchildren, Aubri, Hanna, Joshua, Faith, Gregory, Jantzen, and Jordan; along numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Pallbearers were Scott Moore, David Hightower, Ray Hightower, Joshua Legendre and Stephen Legendre.

 Visitation was held on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 5-7 P.M. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Homer with a graveside service at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Arlington Cemetery of Homer with Rusty Gilbert officiating.

 In lieu of flowers honoring Lois, her family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Shriners Hospital or donor’s choice.
