Graveside services for Lucille Stalder McDonald,102, of Bullard, Tx. will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at Grand Cane Cemetery with Jimmy Price officiating. Visitation will be at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. on Nov. 11, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.. After lunch, everyone will gather for the burial at Grand Cane Cemetery, Grand Cane, La, under the direction of Roseneath Funeral Home of Mansfield, La. Mrs. McDonald died Nov. 9, 2016 in Tyler, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Converse, La. She was born Oct. 10, 1914 in Nowata, Oklahoma to James Gillespie and Elizabeth Inez Hayes Stalder. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Audley D. Maxwell and her second husband, Edwin Dean McDonald, three brothers, Lewis Stalder,, Paul Stalder, and Ted Stalder; one sister, Thelma Stalder, and one grandson, Archie D. Martin, Jr. She is survived by three daughters, Jimmye Maxwell Martin, Edwina McDonald Watkins, and Patsy McDonald. She is also survived by one sister, Nancy Stalder Miller; and a brother, Joseph Daniel Stalder. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and several nephews. She came to Texas from Nowata, Oklahoma in July 1931.
