Lynn Valentine

MANSFIELD, LA--Graveside services honoring the life of Mrs. Lynn Valentine, 81, will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Pelican Cemetery in Pelican, LA with Reverend William J. Valentine officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6PM till 8PM. Lynn was born on September 15, 1935 to Fergia and Gladys Laffitte and entered into rest on July 11, 2017. Preceding Lynn in death are her husband, Johnny Douglas Valentine; parents, Fergia and Gladys Laffitte; son, Mark A. Valentine and daughter, Terri Lynn Valentine. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Kenneth W. Valentine and his wife Sue of Deville, LA, John H. Valentine of Stonewall, LA; sister, Yvette Schukman of Reno, NV; brother, Christopher F. Laffitte and his wife Carolyn of Wheatland, WY; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Honoring the life of Lynn as pallbearers are Bubba Locke, Jeremy Locke, Randy DeSoto, Lonnie DeSoto, Harvey Bedsole, and Carl Bedsole. Honorary pallbearers are Leonard Valentine, Richard Norwood, and Jackie Bedsole.
