Madelynn Strange age 92, passed away on March 29, 2020 in McKinney, Texas. Mrs. Strange was born to Paul & Elsie Taylor on August 17,1927 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born in Lincoln, NE and then moved to Ada, KS as a child then moved to Denver, CO in her teens. She met Robert Strange, II in Denver, CO and married in 1947, later they divorced in 1970. Moved to Melbourne, FL prior to birth of son Robert in 1953. She joined Eastern Star in the 1960's and worked her way up to the top officer of Worthy Matron. Started working for Morris & Dickson Co. in 1970 in Customer Service and worked there 47 years - making many lifelong friends that she considered her extended family. She considered this her proudest accomplishment in life outside of her immediate family. Mrs. Strange was preceded in death by her father Paul Taylor Sr & mother Elsie Sabadosh. She is survived by her son, Robert Strange III and wife Shirley; granddaughters, Rhonda Sandifer, Stephanie Roque and husband Kenneth, Reanna Wallace and husband Ivory; great grandchildren, Christa Chasteen, Camille Strange, Conner Roque, Miranda Keller Macy Roque; great-great grandsons, Ronan Chasteen, Jace Chasteen; and brother, Paul Taylor, Jr. A memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
