Margaret Jackson

Margaret Pearson Jackson, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 97, Thursday, January 23, 2020. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier, Louisiana. A funeral service will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Howard Hall of Shreveport Baptist Temple. Interment will immediately follow the service at Pease Chapel Cemetery, 3384 Bellevue Road, Haughton, Louisiana. Margaret was born on April 17, 1922 in Bayou LaChute, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Fannie Pearson; husband, Willie Archie Jackson and sons, Willie Alfred Jackson, Melvin Earl Jackson and Bobby LaVelle Jackson. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Margaret Burns and husband, Larry, Shirley Woods and husband, David, and Kay Babin; sons, Garland Jackson, Ray Jackson and wife, Barbara and Gene Jackson; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty- nine great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; sister, Janiece Jackson and Sister-in-law, Louetta Pearson. Our family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to family and friends. We would also like to thank Dr. Ajay Tummala and Aime Hospice Care for their care with our dear Mother in her special time of need. Honoring Margaret as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kenneth Jackson, Michael Jackson, Joe Jackson, Barry Jackson, Dustin Jackson, Kevin Jackson, Andrew Riggens and Mark Riggens.
