Marvin was a military veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Afterwards, he met and married his wife, Tommie Nell Seeger in 1967. They were happily married for 50 years. Marvin spent his career as a material handler for AT&T and Lucent Technologies. He was a Southern Baptist and a member of Woodridge Baptist Church. Although he struggled with memory loss over the last few years, he never lost his love for music. Marvin is predeceased by one brother, C.B. Marvin is survived by his spouse, Tommie McNease of Stonewall; son, Jeff McNease of Shreveport, LA and daughters, Teresa Hill of Southampton, NJ and Deanna Davenport of Kerrville, TX. He is also survived by his sister, Elnora Brady and brother, Robert McNease, both of Shreveport, as well as sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Dave Haralson and Melody and Jerry McCurdy. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Life Path Hospice. Their dedication and effort to provide quality care over his last days were a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him. A graveside service officiated by Rev. Chuck McInturf of Woodridge Baptist Church, Shreveport, LA, will be held at Steven's Cemetery in Mira, LA at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018.
