Michael Fulford

Michael Ray Fulford, age 62, passed away on April 25th, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana to be with our Lord and Savior. Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 23rd, 1957 to Earl "Ray" Fulford and Helen Dearman Fulford. He graduated from Junction City High School in 1975 and got his Bachelors degree in Petroleum Geology from Louisiana Tech in 1979. After graduating college, he relocated to Tyler, Texas where he met the love of his life, Carla Morgan. Their family relocated to Houston, Texas and then again to Shreveport, Louisiana where Michael, Mike to his friends, was a successful petroleum geologist. As he had a generous heart, he was always happiest when he was taking care of his family and friends. Michael and Carla are longtime members of University Church of Christ. Mr. Fulford is preceded in death by his parents Earl Ray Fulford and Helen Dearman Fulford. He is survived by his wife, Carla Morgan Fulford; his son, Spencer Morgan Fulford; his daughter, Madison Fulford Harrell; his grandson, Royce Madison Harrell; his sister, Lisa Fulford Gildon and numerous family members and friends. His family will celebrate his life at a later date with a graveside memorial service led by their minister, Jerry Hodge.
