Myra was such a sweet and special woman to so many people. Growing up as a child she was put in our lives to show us the way to Jesus, be a teacher, friend and second Mom. Over her 95 years she did this for so many children. The Trees Union Church was so much a part of her life. She loved the church and The Lord . Myra was a true servant of The Lord and angel to so many. For me I will cherish all those sweet memories. To Myra\'s Family I will pray God gives you peace and comfort in knowing all the lives Myra touched. One of the songs Myra picked out for us to sing was He Touched Me. One that was her favorite and we always sung as a child. Myra touched so many hearts. Myra will always be in mine. Valerie Bourne Perdue

Myra was a truly AMAZING woman in all of her 95 years. My memories of her are filled with laughter and watching her touch other lives. Being the first woman Postmaster for her time while giving perms in the front lobby - she could do it all. My favorite memories of family vacations was waking up and running out back, across the field to see my Aunt Myra! She never let me in the back office because the "POLEECE" would get me. So I would have to be content standing on a stool to talk to her. She will always be an inspiration to me on giving back and truly caring for others. Rest sweet Myra and enjoy the family reunion in heaven!

God brought Miss Myra into our lives at a very early age. Because of her love and faithfulness to the Lord; I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. There are no words to express how much I love and appreciate her other than to say thank you Myra for giving to the Lord. I am a life that was changed. I know you are in the arms of Jesus and He is saying well done thy good and faithful servant. My child look around you great is your reward.

Aunt Myra was one of those people who loved everyone and everyone loved her! She was always doing and caring for others. She was one of those special people who loved God and her church...it was written in the smile on her face as she greeted you. As kids, we \"saw\" Myra as the postmistress, the milker of the cows, the Sunday school teacher and piano player! Later as we got older, we realized what a truly special aunt she was. Myra lived her entire life taking care and giving to others! God bless you, Myra! We love you!
