Nelda Joyce Loden

Please join us in celebrating the life of Nelda Joyce Tipton Loden, 80 of Shreveport, Louisiana. Nelda was born to the parents of James and Ella Mae Leshe Tipton on April 25, 1940 in Coushatta, Louisiana. She passed from this life to her heavenly home on November 10, 2020. Nelda was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She believed in living life to its fullest. She was an avid reader. She loved to sew and was always making arts and crafts of some sort. She loved going to garage sales/flea markets and or estate sales to add to her endless collection of strawberries, tea cups and tea pots. Also, Nelda worked many years as a recruiter for Life Share Blood Center. Nelda's service will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday morning with the service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana at 2 PM. Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Dorothy Faye Simpson of Arcadia, Louisiana, her three children, Tammy Loden Lee of Pineville, Louisiana, Curtis Loden of Shreveport, Louisiana and Tiffany Loden of Shreveport, Louisiana along with four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, all of whom she loved and cherished deeply. During this global pandemic you are required to wear your face mask and social distance. Our family would like to personally thank the staff at Heritage Manor South for your love and care for her in the past seven years. Each of you left a very special place in her heart.
