Private graveside services honoring the life of Neverlyn Oliver, age 73, of Coushatta were held Friday, April 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, LA and officiated by Brother Richard Kaufman, pastor of Martin Baptist Church.
Mrs. Oliver was born on July 25, 1946 in Shreveport, LA and entered into rest due to a sudden illness on April 15, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Laura Allen and daughter, Ann Davidson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jack Oliver; son, James Oliver (Amanda); brother, Tommy Allen (Linda); sisters, Betty Ware and Laurette Hinds, all of Coushatta; grandchildren, Mallory Hoopingarner (Tommy), Katie Hammet (Patrick), McKenzie Davidson, Madison Davidson, Justin Oliver, two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Mrs. Oliver as honorary pallbearers are Tommy Hoopingarner, Jeff Givins, Justin Oliver, Patrick Hammett, Zack Givins, Cody Griffen and Casey Griffen.
The family would like to express thanks to the first responders and the staff at Christus Coushatta Health Care and Christus Highland in Shreveport.
