Mansfield, LA – Mr. Olin Dean Brown, 75, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 1, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on January 11, 1940 in Many, LA. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for LA Department of Transportation and Development.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Toby Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Locke Brown; parents Jessie Lee and Maudie Lee Batson Brown; brothers James Paul Brown and Leon Brown; granddaughter Madison Kent; and daughter-in-law Kimberly Kent.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Willie Mae Thomas Brown; sons Robert “Bull” Kent and Billy D. Locke and Karen; daughters Brenda Spencer and Regina Brown Clark and Fiancé Jim Morris; sisters Bernice Sigler, Elaine Wilson, and Kathryn Walsworth; grandchildren Brandon Kent, Justin Locke, Valriee Martin, Chad Brouillette, LaShae Kagley, AJ Clark, and Lonnie Clark; and great grandchildren Chloe Brouillette, McKinnsey Brouillette, Konnor Schmidt, Tristen Labouliere, Harley Kagley, Michael Kagley, III, Jewell Kennedy, Landon Kennedy, Cameron Felt, and Taylynn Brouillette.

Honoring the life of Mr. Brown as pallbearers will be Chad Brouillette, Lonnie Clark, AJ Clark, Brandon Kent, Chris Locke, and Jeremy Locke.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mansfield Nursing Center and Superior Hospice for the care that they provided to Mr. Brown during his illness. They would also like to say a special thank you to Karen Norris Lee for the love and affection she has shown both to Mr. Brown and the family.
