She had many talents, was a phenomenal cook, decorator, seamstress, and was very creative in many areas. She had a quick wit, which was evident even on the day she passed away
Patsy was also a musician. She played the piano, sang, and wrote many songs. She loved Southern Gospel Music, and enjoyed going to Southern Gospel Music events.
Patsy was known for her famous, "Peanut Patty", which she truly enjoyed making, and giving away. In recent years, she began a ministry of making neck pillows to comfort those who were ill. She made and gave away at least 150 pillows.
On March 7, 2020, she was diagnosed with cancer and faced this diagnosis with courage, acceptance, grace and peace.
