Patsy was born on December 7, 1938 in Rodessa, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father, O.S. Davis, her mother, Irene Barron Davis, and three siblings, Othell Grimsley, Donald Davis, and Wilda McGee. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Johnny Francis, daughter, Patti Bornaman, and son, Rick Francis and his wife, Debbie, her three grandchildren, the joys of her life, Riley Bornaman, Kara Bornaman, and Logan Francis, one sister, Janis Bilton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Patsy was a faithful member of The Pentecostals of Bossier City. Patsy was a caring, giving person, truly concerned for others, always ready to serve or help those in need. She had many talents, was a phenomenal cook, decorator, seamstress, and was very creative in many areas. She had a quick wit, which was evident even on the day she passed away Patsy was also a musician. She played the piano, sang, and wrote many songs. She loved Southern Gospel Music, and enjoyed going to Southern Gospel Music events. Patsy was known for her famous, "Peanut Patty", which she truly enjoyed making, and giving away. In recent years, she began a ministry of making neck pillows to comfort those who were ill. She made and gave away at least 150 pillows. On March 7, 2020, she was diagnosed with cancer and faced this diagnosis with courage, acceptance, grace and peace. Thank you to all who have supported her in these last few months with calls, cards, food, and expressions of love and concern. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Pentecostals of Bossier City Missions Fund. 2833 Viking Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111 Due to the Covid-19 restriction and guidelines, Patsy's family will be having a private immediate family graveside service at Forest Park West Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel. When circumstances allow they will have a Celebration of Life Service to honor Ms. Patsy.
