To the family, We send our condolences. May your family find comfort and hope in the promises made by Jehovah, "the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comfort us in all our tribulation, so that we might be able to comfort others."(2 Corinthians 1:3,4)Jehovah is the "Source" of all life.(Psalms 36:9)He did not intend for humans to live for just a few years and then die. He hates death, he calls it "the last enemy."(1 Corinthians 15:26)Because death is an enemy Jehovah made an arrangement to do away with it. His Son Christ Jesus is a Key figure in that arrangement. That arrangement reveals much about Jehovah's intense love and mercy for us all. "For God loved the world so much, he gave his only-begotten Son so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."(John 3:16)Regarding the death of your dear loved one Jehovah says: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. For Jehovah himself has spoken it."(Isaiah 25:8)To learn more about Jehovah's wonderful promises for the future, when sickness and death will be no more, please visit: www.JW.org and click on "Bible Teachings."

It saddens me to hear of the death of your dear loved one. Please take comfort in God’s promise at John 5:28,29. HE promises that one day, in the near future, “ ALL those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” . This wonderful provision means that you will be reunited with all those that you may have lost in death. Praying that your family has the much needed strength, comfort, and mercy to endure.
