Paula Lee

Funeral services for Paula Sturch Lee, 75, will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating will be Pastor John Harp, associate pastor at Brookwood Baptist Church in Shreveport. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. with funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Brookland Cemetery in Joaquin, Texas. Paula was born on March 30, 1945 to John Wesley Sturch and Mildred Mae Sturch in Center, Texas and passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Paula worked and retired from Schumpert Medical Center after 40 plus years of service. She always had a desire to serve others and always placed their needs ahead of hers. She spent her free time working in her yard, spending time with family and friends, and visiting others in the hospital or local nursing homes. Paula was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church where she remained active and faithful. She loved people and the Lord. Paula was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, William and Ida Sturch and Thomas and Dora Gilmore. Left to cherish Paula's memory is her son, Donnie and wife, Kelli Westmoreland; grandchildren, Noah and Jacob Westmoreland; her sister, Lois Luce of Wichita, Kansas; and first cousins, Van McFadden and Jean Deering. The family would like to thank Ochsner Medical Center in Shreveport, Willis Knighton Rehab, and Garden Park Skilled Nursing facility and staff. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone that had the pleasure to know her.
