Pauline Sisson

Funeral services for Pauline Sisson, 73, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Pastor John Lary of Calvary Baptist Church will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pauline was born June 27, 1945 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by her family on January 31, 2019 after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was a nurse for 47 years before retiring. She was also the co-owner of Insight Magazine. She truly obeyed the greatest of the Lord's commandments, love God and love others. Her compassionate and giving spirit touched the lives of many throughout her life. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Wilkinson; husband, Sammy Willis; and granddaughter, Lisa Ann Willis. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terrill Willis; Deborah Berger and husband Dale, and Dana Hicks and husband Mike; grandchildren, Laurie, Derrick, Cody, Shelbie, Sarah, Amy, and Zach; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Braydon, Brielle, Joseph, Raeleigh, Sammy, Noah, Marshall, Mackenzie, Isaac, and Abby; sister, Sandra "Sandy" Dietrich; and brother, Robert "Bobby" Don Wilkinson, Jr. and spouse Mary. Pallbearers will be Dale, Randy, Todd, Cody, Derrick, and Bryan. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Wilkinson, Mike Hicks, and Zach Hicks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Shreveport Bossier, especially Sheila, Tammy, and Victoria and her former caregivers, Trence and Melissa.
