Pleasant Hill, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Raiford Rogers, 88, will be at 11:30 Friday, March 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church Pleasant Hill, LA with Reverend Denver Ebert officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, LA. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church on Friday, March 4, 2016 from11:30 AM until time of service at 1:30 PM. Raiford was born in Stephens, AR to Roy E Rogers and Lois Wilson and passed away at the hospital in Mansfield, LA with his daughter and son-in-law by his side. Preceding Raiford in death were his wife Betty Yvonne Rogers; son Raiford Johnson Rogers parents Roy Rogers and Lois Wilson, and one brother Wilson Rogers. Those left behind to cherish his memory are DaughterCheryl Rogers Cox and beloved son-in-law Buddie Charles Cox, Brother Roy M. Rogers, Sisters Lorene Cheatham, Nancy Smith, Sally McLaurin, Mary Nell Channell and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
