RAYMOND C. "CLIFF" WHEELER   SHREVEPORT, LA - To the great surprise and dismay of his family and friends, Mr. Raymond "Cliff" Wheeler unexpectedly left all "this mess" to us and went to a better place. He passed peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of May 17, 2016. A Friend to all, he will never believe how much he will be loved and missed. Memorial services for Mr. Raymond "Cliff", 78, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Southern Hills Healthcare and Rehabilation in the chapel. Cliff was born on November 17, 1938 in Bradley, AR to Cecil and Liller Reed Wheeler. Preceding Cliff in death were his parents, and sister, Peggy Lou, brothers, Cecil Don and Billy Farris. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Edie Wheeler; daughter, Veanessa Honeycutt and husband, Robert; grandsons, Christopher and Brian Withem, granddaughter, Haley Honeycutt, great grandson, Kaden; sister, Dianne Bolling and husband, Steve. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Southern Hills Healthcare and Rehabilation Retirement Home for all the care, support and compassion they have given during Raymond's stay.
