SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Reatha Norris Morgan will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Don Woodard. Interment will follow at Doyline Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Rose-Neath in Bossier City, LA. Reatha was born in Doyline, LA April 6, 1928 to Ernest J. Norris, Sr. and Bonnie Mae Dunn Norris and died March 30, 2017 in Shreveport. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church, Minden, LA, where she was a longtime resident. Reatha had worked as an administrative assistant at the LA Army Ammunition Plant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie G. Morgan; parents; two sisters; one brother and one son-in-law. Reatha is survived sons, Larry G. Morgan and wife, Barbara of Blanchard, Dr. Waynn C. Morgan and wife, Pamela of Alvin, TX; daughters, Nancy M. Williams of Camden, AR, Terri M. Brown and husband, Barry of Livingston, TX; sister Melba Sue Brannon and husband, Mike of Shreveport; brother, Ernest Junior Norris and wife, Judy of Blanchard; sister-in-law, Dorothy Walker of Doyline; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Molly Branch and husband, Maxie and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
