Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Rebecca Pardue Moore, at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Arcadia. Bro. Bob Jamison will officiate. Interment will follow at Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Rebecca was born August 25, 1939, in Shreveport to Calvin McKenzie and Ethlynne Elena Bowen Pardue. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. Rebecca was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She graduated from LA Tech Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in 1959. She had worked as a teacher, a social worker, and as a homemaker. Rebecca was a brilliant woman, a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who had a love for her family that will be truly missed. Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents Calvin McKenzie and Ethlynne Elena Pardue. She is survived by her adoring husband William Egan Moore, sons Timothy Moore and Edward Moore, daughters Dr. Catherine Ashley Bhargava and Tracy Moore Reinholt, sisters Frances Day and Ellen Prell, brother Thaddeus Pardue, by 12 grandchildren, and by numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Tim Moore, Ted Moore, Gary Reinholt, Ami Bhargava, Jeremy Pardue and Eric Reinholt.
