Robert Miller Reid, Jr.

A Memorial Service for Robert Miller Reid, Jr., 63, will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Chris Willcutt. Robert was born on December 9, 1957 to Robert Miller Reid, Sr. and Willie Mae Lasyone' in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Keithville, Louisiana. Robert was a painter and carpenter. He graduated from Fair Park High School in 1975. He was a member of Grawood Baptist Church. May you rest in peace knowing that your memory will live on for being an amazing man so full of love and selflessness. We pray that you watch over us until we see you again. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Lasyone'; brother, Rodney Glyn Reid; sister, Cindy Reid Litton; and grandmother, Pat Kennedy. Left to cherish his memory is his father, Robert Miller Reid, Sr.; daughters, Wendy Renee Reid and Jenny Reid-Hemken; grandsons, Christian DeWayne Henderson, Elijah Nathaniel Henderson and Micah Adam Reid. The family would like to express special thanks to Robert's physician, Dr. James Wayne Thompson, for all the wonderful care given to our dad over the years. It is greatly appreciated.
