Ruby Williams

Ruby Butler Williams was born July 31, 1930 in Athens, Louisiana to John and Maggie Hickman Butler. Ruby passed away November 23, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Preceding Ruby in death were her parents, husband Gene, son John Roy Spring, five brothers, and her only sister Adell Acklin. She is survived by son, Jack Price Spring II and wife Lucinda; two grandsons, Jack Price Spring III and wife Nicole and Lincoln Tyler Spring and wife Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Audrey Spring and Jack Price Spring IV; niece, Eva Holland; great-niece, Delisa McGuire; and great-nephew, Derryl Holland. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Old Athens Cemetery in Athens, Louisiana. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Garden Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
