Rubye Green
Shreveport, LA - Rubye Dale Green was born on July 10, 1918, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was born in Taylor, AR and was a longtime 70 year resident of Shreveport, LA. She lived a long and fulfilling life of 96 years. She is survived by her set of boy and girl twins, daughter, Frieda Rainer of Shreveport, LA and son, Fred Salter and wife, Betty of Dallas, TX as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 20, at 1 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside. Officiating will be her son, Fred Salter. A graveside service will follow at Garden of Memories in Minden, LA. Officiating will be her grandson by marriage, Jim Thrasher.
