Visitation for Ruth Driver, 90, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church with Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father John Paul Crispin officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park West Cemetery following the funeral.
Ruth was born March 5, 1928 in New Orleans, LA and went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2018. She retired from Brookshire's Grocery Store as a cashier office manager. She was a past president of the Lady's Auxiliary for the Marian Council of Knights of Columbus. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leonard L. Driver; her father; her mother and stepfather, Lucille and William Jackson; and three children, Kenneth, Shirley, and Cynthia. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathryn Green, Carolyn McDonald and husband Mac, and Debra Gleasman and husband Chris; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Honoring Ruth as pallbearers will be Mike Green, Chris Green, Steven Green, Curtis Conkle, Sean McDonald, and Adam Ebarb. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Keith Green and Jason Young.
