Bossier City, LA - A graveside service for Sandra Sue Carlin Dehn, 75, of Bossier City, LA will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Rose-Neath Cemetery located at 5185 Swan Lake Road, Bossier City, LA 71111. Officiating will be Deacon Michael Wise of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111.
Sandra was born on Tuesday, September 26, 1944 in Jennings, LA to William and Ella Mae Carlin and passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Among the many things that Sandra loved were her little Yorkie "Susie" who she treasured very much, her passion for dancing and singing karaoke, her casino time, her travels to Germany, but most of all the deep love she shared with her family and friends. She considered Beverly Treadway to be one of the best friends she had. Sandra was the matriarch of the family. She was a very stubborn but strong woman who could be ornery at times but had a true heart of gold and was a giver above all. Sandra worked for many years in local hospitals as a medical coder, a job she loved and took very seriously.
Sandra lost her husband Warren Dehn in October 2014 and soon after lost her precious daughter, Debbie Bartlett. The death of Debbie really hit Sandra hard. She also lost three brothers; Randy Simon, Eric Carlin and Billy Carlin. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Christopher J. Leger of Waskom, TX; two daughters, Janice M. Caldwell of Bossier City, LA. and Glynda F. Bennett of Greenwood, LA;' her sisters, Rose M. Wager of Bossier City, LA., Marlene A. Guillory of Prairieville, LA., Diane G. Mayo of Norco, LA. and Betty A. Mack of Destrehan, LA.; her brother, Danny Carlin of Norco, LA.; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; niece, Brenda Carlin of Bossier City, LA and nephew, Doug Wright of Roanoke, VA.
