Shirley St. John

Shirley St. John age 69, passed away in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She was born November 7, 1950 in Jefferson County Alabama to Gladys and Robert Green. Being a native Alabamian, she loved everything Alabama! Especially the University of Alabama "Roll Tide!" Most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed. Mrs. St. John was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, James St. John; and her parents. She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy R. Lee partner Charlie Calvin and Tracy L. Bamburg and husband Marty; one grandson, Mason Bamburg; and her three dear friends, Leighann Reeves, Robin Sellers and Nikki Headrick. Mrs. St. Johns family would like to thank the Drs. and staff at M.D. Anderson Cancer Treatment Center in Houston for all the love and care they provided to our mother. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Providence Cemetery in Ragland, Alabama. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2020 at Rose-Neath Bossier Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana.
