Steven Patrick Nichols, 44, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 We will be celebrating his life on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 1050 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating will be Father Mark Watson. Burial will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Stonewall, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Steven was born on June 5, 1976 at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Mansfield, Louisiana. He is the son of Harold "Nick" and Pat Nichols. Steven was a resident of Keatchie, Louisiana. His occupation was a Hydraulic Tech. He loved life. He was always the life of the party. He loved people and his family. He will forever be remembered for his kind and loving heart and always helping friends and family. Steven is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Turner and James Nichols. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Nick and Pat Nichols; sisters, Michelle Deering of Houston, Texas, Nikki Nichols of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Tamara Nichols of Houston, Texas; grandmothers, Ruby Meshell Lyon of Bossier City and Colleen Nichols of Shreveport; and many much-loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; as well as many friends. Honoring Steven as pallbearers will be John Nichols, Ryan Ebarb, Howard Ebarb, Jr., Danny Delgado, Brad Norwood, Mike Wheatly, Jr., Brandon Jimerson (Big Head), and Greg Wallace.
