Graveside services for Susan Williams Booker, 69, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Providence Road Cemetery in Shreveport, LA  with Brother Steve Gilly officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA.

Susan Williams Booker was born October 16, 1949 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2018, after a long battle of Alzheimers Dementia. She has now gained her heavenly wings and is made whole again. She graduated from Woodlawn High School, afterwards she trained and earned her degree as an X-ray technician at Confederate Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband James (Jim) Booker of 42 years. She loved her family, she was always the first to help others, send cards and loved everyone dearly.

Susan was preceded in death by: father, Ralph C. Williams; mother, Janice Butler Williams; great niece, Brinlee Mae Green; sister in law, Elaine Furlong and mother in law, Lola Booker. Left to cherish her memories are her beloved husband, James (Jim) Booker of Keithville, LA; siblings, Cindy Blewer (Elaine) of Shreveport, LA, Vicki Anderson (David) of Greenwood, LA, and Penny Behan (Jimmy) of Keithville, LA and, Clif Williams (Blinda)of Benton, LA; sister in laws, Drenda Wiggins of Midland, TX and Barbara Wall (Jimmy) of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews and many more dear to her heart.

Honoring Susan as pallbearers will be, Dave Anderson, Jason Blewer, Wyatt Williams, Whitney Green, Colby Collins and Josh Baucom. Honorary pallbearers will be Lonnie Dunn and Mike Bobo.

The family would like to thank Dr. Randy Delmundo, Stat Home Health, St. Joseph Hospice and The Bradford for their exceptional care of Susan.
