Teresa Piercy

A private graveside service for Teresa Gail Tipton Piercy, 63, will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Bernice Cemetery in Evergreen, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Mike Hawkins. Teresa was born on June 29, 1957 to Harry Wally Tipton and Betsy Ross Reeves Tipton in Springhill, Louisiana and passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a resident of Stonewall, Louisiana and worked in retail as a Price Manager before retiring. She married Charles Piercy on May 18, 1985 and had her first daughter, Anne Piercy on December 2, 1990. She had her second daughter, Betsy Piercy, on August 20, 1992 and her third daughter, Hannah Reeves on January 28, 1999. She loved to help others and sing in the church choir. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family. Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anne Marie Piercy; grandson, Braelynn White; and brother, Harry Stevie Tipton. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charles Edward Piercy; daughters, Betsy Elizabeth Piercy and Hannah Alexandra Reeves; sisters, Betsy Lynn Tipton Masters and Judy Sherlene Tipton McGuire. The family would like to thank the staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for the care and compassion shown Teresa during her illness.
