Funeral services for Thomas "Jess" Jolley, 64, will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Graveside burial will follow at Bethsadia Cemetery in Many, Louisiana at 4:00 p.m. A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Brother Clyde Stephens, Sr. Jess was born June 21, 1957 to John and Billie Jolley in Skiatook, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from injuries sustained from an accident. Jess worked for Red Diamond Oil Field Services. Prior to that, he was a truck driver for 44 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jess was always willing to help someone without asking anything in return. He was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Family and work was his entire life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jess is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Jolley; and brother, J. L. Jolley. Left to cherish his memory is his father, John Jolley; wife of 25 years, Linda Jolley; sons, Brandon Jolley and Hallie Davis and Justin Jolley and wife, Michelle; stepson, Matt Schellinger, stepdaughter, Emma Schellinger; grandchildren, Lance Jolley, Donavyn Jolley and T.J. Jolley; sisters, Johnni Vosseller and Debbie Green; brothers, Clyde Stephens and wife, Vicky, Paul Tinker and wife, Ruth; and brother-in-law, David Cooper and wife, Dee. Honoring Jess as pallbearers will be Brandon Jolley, Lance Jolley, Rod Keener, Clyde Stephens, Jr., Wesley Goode and Paul Tinker. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Gossett and Johnny Bowden.
