Verna Clevenger

Funeral services for Verna Dowden Clevenger, 82, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Steve Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the funeral home. Verna was born April 19, 1935 in Hagewood, LA to Irvin and Lucille Dowden and passed away on March 7, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and eight siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
