Virginia was a resident of Shreveport and worked as a sales representative and manager for several jewelry stores during her career. She was a member of River of Life Church and Women of God Ministries. She was a natural born salesperson. To quote mama, “I could sell ice to an Eskimo!” She had an incredible green thumb with a gorgeous flower garden. She loved Jesus and her children. Later in life, God sent her the “love of her life,” Chuck Henley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Charles Henley. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Theresa Deloach, Joanna Marshall and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Jennifer Wood, Jason Wood and wife, Traci, Dallas Marshall and wife, Teah, Christina Brumfield and husband, Randall, Mandy Swayze and husband, Chris, Angel Lowe and husband, Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Hayes, Connor and Hattie Jane Wood, Alyran and Atalie Marshall, Ember Lowe, Amelia and Abigail Brumfield, Armandia, Laney, Lydia and Nevaeh King; and best friend for many years, Maureen Jones.
