Wanda Burnett

Wanda "Sissy" Lynn Burnett (Rogers) passed away peacefully in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 23, 2017 at the age of 53. "Sissy" is survived by her mother, Jewel Rogers, son, Justin Bossier and wife Hannah Bossier, daughter Shelby Hebert, son, Mason Burnett, son, Matthew Burnett, niece Jodi Rogers, niece Brittany Rogers, and nephew Trenton Rogers. She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Rogers, brothers, Brad and Jeff Rogers, and sister Sharon Rogers. "Sissy" was born on April 7, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jewel and Jimmy Rogers. She graduated from Stanley High School and was a resident of the community. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. All are welcome to attend a memorial service to celebrate her life scheduled from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for sons Matthew and Mason's college account. The account will be set up at Community Bank of Louisiana under Mason and Matthew Burnett.
