Funeral services for Wayne Blackwell will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Perry Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Old Athens Cemetery in Athens, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Wayne was born May 26, 1938 in Athens, Louisiana and entered into rest February 11, 2015 in Minden, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents Landis and Nevella Blackwell, son Kenny Blackwell, and stepson Robby.
