William DeYoung III

Funeral services for William "Bones" Anthony DeYoung III, 59, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Daniel Nelson and Pastor Ray Holman officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Bones was born September 26, 1958 in Shreveport and passed away on April 25, 2018 in Shreveport. He worked for General Motors for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his new grandson. Bones was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Anthony DeYoung, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are mother, Betty Nesbett DeYoung; sisters, Debbie Thomason (Paul) and Rhonda Hales (Chuck); sons, William "T" Anthony DeYoung IV (Blair) and Travis Michael DeYoung (Kaitlin); grandson, William Benjamin DeYoung; best friends, Ben and Brenda Prichard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be "T" DeYoung, Travis DeYoung, Paul Thomason, Ben Prichard, Homer Nesbett, and Trey Bernard.
