Funeral services for Willie Beshea, Jr., 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Waymon Beshea.
Jr. was born on April 4, 1944 in Springhill, Louisiana to Willie Dewee Beshea and Elsie Mae Powell Beshea and passed Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Jr. was the youngest of 11 children and was a jack of all trades, he knew how to fix anything that was broken. When not tinkering around with his tools, he enjoyed visiting the horse tracks, grilling and spending time with his family, especially his pride and joy, his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl Beshea, Dearl Beshea, Clarance Beshea, Carl Beshea and Mack Beshea and sisters, Annie Rae Bullard, Bobbie Rae Streetman and Dorless Murray. He is survived by daughter, Rhonda Ann Hammons and husband, John; son, Scott Beshea and wife, Renee; sister, Loraine “Sister” Branton; brother, W.D. “Dee” Beshea and wife, Wanda; grandchildren, Jacob Hammons, Emily Hammons, Marisa Beshea and Maisy Beshea and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Honoring Jr. as pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Beshea, Johnny Hammons, Cory Randolph, Wesley Beshea, Frank Freeman and Bobby Ezernack. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Earl Underwood.
To know Jr. was to love him, he will truly be missed.
