Willie Bloxom

Shreveport, LA - Willie Lee McClain Bloxom age 94, passed away on January 30, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Bloxom was born to Lois Godwin and Elmer McClain on November 26, 1925 in Alba, Texas. She was a long time member and teacher at Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Bloxom was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Bloxom; infant son, Edmond Bloxom; daughter, Cheryl St. Pierre; grandsons, Robbie Bloxom, Justin Bloxom; parents; and siblings. She is survived by her children, Wayne Bloxom, David and wife Karen Bloxom, Mark and wife Tammy Bloxom, Kevin and wife Christine Bloxom; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Funeral services will be followed at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Dan Lay will be officiating the service. Graveside services will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 130 E Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA. The family would like to give special recognition to the staff at The Guest House Rehibition Center for all of their wonderful care.
