Funeral services for Acy L. Sullivan will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Jeff Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubberly, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Acy was born October 13, 1937 in Castor, Louisiana and entered into rest October 20, 2014 in Arcadia, Louisiana. He was employed by Soil Stabilizers for 39 years. He is survived by his wife Lougena "Gena" Blackwell McCoy Sullivan of Dubberly, sons Accie L. Sullivan, Jr. of Sibley, Jeff Sullivan of Shreveport, Bryan Sullivan and partner James Osborne of Shreveport, Louis (Lee) McCoy of Dubberly, Jason McCoy and wife Kathy of Dubberly, sisters Ellen Page of Castor, Joyce Jordan of Ringgold, brother Kenneth Sullivan of Castor, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Harper, Derrick Banks, Fred Banks, Carey Stevens, Terry Lowery, and T.V. Razer. Honorary pallbearers will be Brett May and Jeremy Haddox.
