Ada A. Averitt

MINDEN, LA - Memorial Service for Ada A. Averitt, 88, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA 71101. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, prior to the service at the funeral home. Ada was born March 23, 1929, in Fort Pane, AL and passed away June 17, 2017, in Minden, LA. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be loved and missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her brother O.B. Wadkins; her grandson, Caleb Duggan and his wife Casey Wogan; great-grandchildren, Austin, Gracie, and Trinity; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Frobile Ham, her mother and father, her daughter Allene Averitt, and several brothers.
